Ceduna Domestic Violence & Aboriginal Family Violence Service

The Ceduna Domestic Violence & Aboriginal Family Violence Service is a service for women and children who in are or have experienced domestic violence or Aboriginal family violence.

Our goal is to provide, or ensure provision of, services that support women to develop and maintain a safe and secure environment for their children and themselves.

We achieve this by:

• Provision of safe secure accommodation during critical times.
• Counselling that empowers women to stay safe while developing and maintaining equivalent relationships.
• Counselling to support children's recovery from domestic violence or aboriginal family violence and development of safe secure relationships.
• Case management services that offer access to employment, financial, legal information and services, accommodation, cultural reconnection, professional counseling, health and addiction (drug & alcohol and gambling) services either directly or through referral.
• Ceduna Domestic Violence & Aboriginal Family Violence Service provides education sessions on domestic violence or indigenous family violence for service providers, agencies, schools and individuals.

Centacare Catholic Country SA is an authorized Circle of Security Parenting program provider. Our service works in partnership with many services both locally and in the greater service sector.

The service is accessible 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

People at risk of harm should initially contact the police on 000.

Centacare Catholic Country SA staff are on call 24/7 and available during normal office hours via 8625 3810.

The Ceduna Regional Domestic Violence and Aboriginal Family Violence Service is offered through the Ceduna Centacare Cathoic country SA office.
